Pro:
working for venture capitalists could be better than working for some predatory private practices on certain markets.
You may be able to stack cash if you are very very fast, malpractice fast
You may be able to have better flexibility, at huge financial cost
Con:
You are working for an entity whose end goal is to fire you ASAP and replace you with AI, despises you, will take a large portion of your income just because they can.

will it last? of course not, bondholders and investors must be paid!-
Think about how Apple, Google, Amazon, Netflix, Facebook destroyed brick mortar, mom pop shop and changed the habits of social interaction and entertainment. Eventually, people will hop onto the train, willing or unwilling. People who want to hold onto the past will be retired…
In the future, I imagine will be just big corp and academics

Will only need couple of people on-site doing IT and fluoro. Fluoro actually can be done by rad tech assistant. Other lower paying medicine folks, such as IM, PA, NP, can be on-site watching the contrast reaction.

You’d be best off talking to rads who actually work for RP. This crowd hates anything they see as a threat.

I guess ultimately, are radiologists who work for RP happy? Most Rad’s tend to be conservative and don’t like moving to new jobs imho. So when RP takes over, its not as if you have to many options especially with restrictive covenants in place.

Mom pop shop employees were a happy bunch. Brick mortar employees thought they had a stable future. Their jobs are annihilated. Many PP work a grinding schedule, getting worse by adding more workload to keep up old salary. They are not happy anyway.
