A woman on US $20 note?

Watch out Andrew Jackson. Women and men all over America are banding together and petitioning to have a woman to take over the $20 bill by the year 2020 just in time for the 100th anniversary of womens suffrage.
This campaign is a great platform for Americans to take the time to educate themselves on the women who have helped shape this country and vote for whom they believe best represents the womens rights movement. It is also an opportune moment to signify how far women have come.
I’ve always wondered how Jackson made the cut to be on US currency anyway. I’m fine with giving him the boot in favor of …

If it had to coincide with women’s suffrage I think you have to go with someone famous from the women’s suffrage movement.
Although I don’t think I’d limit it to women as you could probably pick from plenty of deserving people. Like the MLK $20. I think it would be cool to even drop the person and make an eagle or something cool like that.-
I think either Madonna or Paris Hilton would be better as a smbol of what our culture has become

Maya Angelou is apparently getting a stamp, however, there appears to be some question as to if the quote on said stamp is really her’s or if it’s plagiarized. Government at work. Good job post office.

the post office is improving your healthcare? I know I was slightly off on a tangent from money to stamps but good job working healthcare into this thread.

It might as well be the post office. No, mindless government drones. Just finished listening to the hospitals quality officer filling us in on next years pqrs. The post office couldn’t have come up woth anything worse.

No such things as corporate drones flucking up any systems…it’s all government’s fault.

And we also need to put Hillary in the Oval Office in 2016. -
No No No No No. We need Eleanor Roosevelt on the 20. A Women who really knew how to deal and relate with all the social classes and really cared. Lets not give it to someone who’s has done nothing between the races relations or poverty.
Tubman would be my 2nd option.

Id prefer we just remove people and go back to something cool like etchings of an Eagle. Maybe double eagles. Kodiak Brown Bear. A nice Elk. Even a nature scene.
-
how about creating a new $200 bill and putting her on it. Mckinnely was on the 500 and Cleveland was on the 1000.
