A 2 year neuro fellowship not filling!? Not surprised. I still can’t believe anyone falls for this scam.

Affirmative action racism has been banned. Maybe now they wont discriminate against Asians.

I think this could be right for the right individual. Depends on what you want to doif you want to do academics or super-subspecialize, then this could be right for you. Also TBH, most people I know who did two year fellowships had zero student loans and/or came from (relatively) monied families. I think student loans need to start being paid back after year PGY-6. No offense, but good luck paying that back every and living in a high rent city like SF.

The 2 year neurofellowship made sense when DR neurorads did a lot of angio and residents did not get good exposure to neuro MRI. It serves no purpose these days except as cheap labor for a few ivory tower places that haven’t gone to 1 year like the overwhelming majority of programs.

Even ivory towers will hire anyone with a pulse these days. 2 year fellowship is useless unless you specifically want a research track gig at USCF/Stanford/MGH
